The staff was pleasant and amiable, so I would book again. A double room with a lovely view over the gardens to the mountains, I had requested this in advance. Its unbeatable, central location was a plus. There was a magnificent restaurant, a bakery and a supermarket next door. The service here was good.

The food is different and the service is great, with a poolside bar and an amazing pool.

Le Cottage is set in a lovely garden with a view of the mountains. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a view of the swimming pool and garden.. The breakfast was excellent.
Rather far from the beach, but you know that by looking at the map before you book.

Quiet, comfortable place, close to the village but away from the busy beach area. Easy access to Argeles, Le Racou and Collioure by car.

Had a nice, simple, and up-to-date room with a balcony - loved the vibe. Bfast was awesome, especially the gluten-free bread. the folks working here were super helpful, and the pool was great for chilling 😊.

Fabulous pool and gardens ideal for our 9 and 13 year old. Lovely setting and good position within walking distance of old town. Room and bathroom were spotless and tastefully decorated. Staff very friendly and efficient. Lovely breakfast on terrace in morning.
Family room had two double beds so children had to share which was fine for younger children but might not be suitable for older children. Needs to state this on booking page.

The hotel was presented excellently, the pool and gardens impeccable as other reviewers have said.View from the balcony stood out as a good memory.
Being just over 6ft, the toilet was a real problem, it is incredibly small and could be easily incorporated into the shower room which would give sufficient space for all sizes. Breakfast location was superb but the content was limited for the price,

The venue is conveniently located within a short distance to a grocery store, the harbor, and the stunning Le Raccou beach.

The room they gave us was modern and spotless with balcony, separate WC, as example. Location: the hotel was close enough to the port, the post office and a market and more restaurants.
No!

Beautiful garden with nice pool suitable for both small children and adults. Staff is friendly.
The hotel does not have facilities to serve dinner, therefore finding every evening a restaurant by car (walking distance is too far with children) with children was rather difficult. The location of the hotel is further from the beach than most descriptions of the hotel, approximately 1 km via a busy road. Although the hotel is nice and is member of Relaix de Silence, its character is totally different than the town itself (Argeles-sur-mer) with many cheap-looking "neon-light" bars and restaurants and extremely busy/touristic, hard to find a parking space in the evening.

Spent 1 night here with our 2 children (7 & 4). Booked a last min deal family suite (2 singles in lounge & a double bed) - thought that would be it - but was happily surprised to see a kitchenette with fridge & more.(Basically a mini apartment). We were a stones throw away (literally!) from the pool with 1 super private decked area and a little terrace at the front. They don't do dinner & breakfast is (apparently - according to other reviews - expensive) but had we stayed longer it wouldn't have been a prob because we had a kitchen & Argeles was about a 5 min walk away. My husband walked into town & bought croissants etc for breakfast. Staff were lovely & pool was quiet & shallow enough for children but deep enough for us. Stayed end July.
Would have loved to be able to stay there for dinner (especially after a long day's travelling!)

The atmosphere was very laid back and peaceful. I enjoyed the view of the mountains from our balcony. Breakfast was also an enjoyable experience. Staff were very good and coped admirably with our 'French'.
The selection of drinks available was poor and expensive. Breakfast was also bit expensive for what was on offer (although very tasty). The centre of town (where the hotel is located) in the evening was very quiet with few places to go and eat which was a pity as I preferred Centre Ville to the Plage area.

Charming, friendly and nice hotel just a few steps away from the "touristic" centre of Argeles sur Mer. Bathroom small, but very clean and with all the comfort you need. We stayed in a family room. Perfect beds for the adults. (the "double" bed are two (long!) single beds put together) for us perfect, since the French double beds normally are very small. Our two kids slept together on a sofa bed. Nice breakfast with various assortment of bread. Very nice pool. Relaxed atmosphere.
Not that we did not like it, but just to mention that there are some differences with the website. We booked the superior family room but would not say that it is "superior". Our room was much smaller than the pictures on the website. The two single beds are only 50 cm away from the double sofa bed. We would say that the sofa bed can be used for one adult or two kids until the age of about 6-7 years old. It´s quit small. Though for us, not any of a problem. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.
